Halloween contest

This year we have celebrated Halloween at school as usual. Our English classroom has changed for some days into a place full of spiders and webs, witches, monsters and more... Following the previous year competition, we proposed our students to create pumpkins and brooms at home and bring them back to school to display. The results have been amazing. You can see some pictures here:

Thank you all for your collaboration. Your pumpkins and brooms were brilliant!!

And the winners of the pumpkin/broom competition were: Yassin from year 5 and Fátima from year 1. CONGRATULATION!!!

Halloween 2012

Everything's ready at school for Halloween!!!

We've been decorating classrooms and corridors with different Halloween motifs: pumpkins, cats, witches and bats...BOOOOO!!!

This year we've even hold a ghost competition!

Look at some of the scariest ghosts made by children in years 4, 5 and 6.

They have used different recycling materials such as clothes, dry pipes,  plastic bottles and cups, cardboard, boxes and many others

Well done everybody!!
We will announce the winners of the competition in just a few days.

It's Halloween!!!

On the 31st of October we celebrate Halloween. People from different countries celebrate this Irish tradition. They get dressed as wizards and witches, monsters, ghosts, skeletons... and play trick or treat around their neighbourhood.
At school we have been decorating our classroom and corridors. Look at our displays:
