Acting out - Cavall Bernat

Aquest curs participem per primera vegada en una iniciativa pionera al barri de Sants. Algunes de les escoles del districte ens hem unit per representar una obra teatral conjunta en anglès. La nostra escola participarà amb l'alumnat de quart.
De moment hem començat amb els preparatius i hem creat uns vídeos de presentació per tal que els nens i nenes dels diferents centres es coneguin una mica més.

Billy Banjo - Cicle Mitjà

Next Wednesday 20th of May our students in year 3 and 4 are going to the theatre to watch a show by IPA Productions Company.

Halloween 2014

Year 1, 2 and 3 celebrated Halloween the last week of October. The theme of this year’s competition was “witches and wizards”, so we challenged our students and their families to make the most original witches’ hats and wizards’ wands out of recycled materials such as paper, cardboard, kitchen foil or drinking straws and to decorate them with lots of glitter, colours and spooky things.
The hats and wands were all so amazing that the teachers had a really hard time picking just one winner of each class.
Big thanks to all those who participated, your hats and wands were absolutely fantastic!!

Snow White and Robin Hood

Every year students at Cavall Bernat School go to the theatre to watch a show. This year, year 1, 2, 3 and 4 watched the well known play "Snow White" and year 5 and 6 "Robin Hood"

After watching "Robin Hood" there was an after show activity in which our students could ask questions to the actors related to the play. It was very interesting! and they tried hard to speak in English. Well done!

Year 4 students have created a beautiful display. They have drawn shops, buildings, transports, people and roads to later stick them in a city map. Then they have written a description of this imaginary city.

Treasure Island

Yesterday we watched the play Treasure Island at school. It was a brilliant story. Here you can see some of the pictures.

Some of the children became actors in the play.

Tomorrow morning year 1, 2 and 3 children are going to watch a play at the school theatre. The play is "Cinderella" and it's a very funny story!

TREASURE ISLAND

On Wednesday the 19th of October year 4, 5 and 6 will attend a play at our school theatre.
We are going to watch the story "Treasure Island" writen by Robert Louis Stevenson and represented by the company IPA productions.

School lunch

Year 3 children have just started to write short texts in English.
Today they have written about their school/home lunches. They use vocabulary related to the food family and some simple expressions.
